Meet our Young Professionals Advisory Board (YPAB) Members!

  • Ojasbi Bhattarai, Co-Chair

Hi! I am Ojasbi Bhattarai, a public health graduate, currently working as a Research Assistant at Anweshan Pvt. Ltd in Nepal. All I am crazy about in life is to be independent; emotionally, mentally, and financially. Talking about my hobbies, I love playing sports, ALL sports, if I haven't tried any, I wish to try it at least once.I also love watching and listening to korean songs and fantasize dancing like kpop idols to those songs. Most of the time, I'm lost doing things in my brain that I can't do in reality.

My favourite colour is purple because this is what signifies my fondness for BTS. Obviously, this makes my favourite place to be South Korea, which I'd love to visit one day. I don't have any specific guilty pleasure, but, haha I love watching things that make me cringe and carry on watching it for hours with a constant cringe expression on my face.

  • Rebecca Moore, Co-Chair

After enjoying a wonderful pregnancy and birth with my daughter in the Netherlands, which has one of the best maternity systems in the world, I became very interested in and passionate about maternal and pediatric care. I wondered how my experience compared to those around the world and wanted to contribute to a better pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period for women everywhere. It has inspired me to build a brand to help women in pregnancy and postpartum, regardless of their circumstances.

Prior to this adventure, I worked in marketing for ten years for toy, cosmetics, and sports brands. My experience ranges from product development to ecommerce marketing, and I have a particular interest in building new programs and launching new products.

In my free time, enjoy traveling with my husband and toddler, doing sports like yoga and running, and watching my daughter learn and grow.

  • Marisa Grimes

Hello! My name is Marisa Grimes. I am currently based in Kigali, Rwanda where I work full-time for an NGO in service of smallholder farmers and their families. When I'm not at work, you can find me managing my own small nonprofit, planning upcoming trips with my husband and young daughter, listening to podcasts, or adding just a bit too much sugar into my cappuccino while reading a good book. One of the things I am passionate about is affordable health access, and there is no more critical juncture for women's health and safety than when they are pregnant or about to give birth. This is why I'm so glad I came across OHW and have been able to join the YPAB to help support their incredible and cost-effective work in Nepal! My fun fact is that I while I am American, I was actually born abroad and have spent a majority of my life outside of the USA :)

  • Hannah Wincklhofer

Hello! My name is Hannah Wincklhofer. I am a recent MPH graduate from Boston University focusing my studies on Global Health and Maternal and Child Health. Most recently I have worked as a research assistant on a project aiming to mitigate family planning stockouts for women in rural Zambia. As I continue my search for a post-graduate job, I hope to pursue a career focused on reducing maternal and neonatal mortality globally. One day I would love to start my own Non-profit that targets the inequities faced by women and children in the care they receive in underserved countries. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer, skiing, and spending time outside. I am thrilled to be a part of the OHW YPAB and jumpstart my career in Public Health.

The whole reason I want to be a doctor is to help people, so helping women and children in Nepal through being a part of the advisory board seems like a great way to help people in need of medical care before obtaining my medical license. In addition to my interest in healthcare, I love singing and baking!
