“I delivered my first two babies at home. I have never been to school and during that period nobody told me about the option to deliver a baby at the health post. But for my 3rd baby, Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHV) and health staff came to my house for counseling for antenatal check-ups and advised me to have my delivery at the local health post. I was 4 months pregnant when the mega earthquake hit on 25th April. I was numb when things around me started to shake, making me think that this could be the end of my life. But I was fortunate enough to escape this tragedy. Thereafter I went for regular antenatal checkups and after six months I delivered a healthy baby girl inside the birthing tent provided by One Heart World-Wide. I could feel aftershocks during my delivery but I remained calm as I knew this was the safest place to survive. The tent installed on the health post premises is really good, clean and safe.  Thank you One Heart for quickly responding to our needs by setting up the birthing tent and providing essential delivery equipment on time.”
